I took this cruise with over 20 members of a service organization that I belong to. I'm not a huge cruise fan - I would not have booked it for myself, but I knew that I would have a good time with my group. I've taken a couple of Carnival cruises before and one through NCL, and if I ever do another one, it will be with a truly premier line. But, this cruise did exceed my expectations.

I've been to Galveston many times, so I did not do any sightseeing before or after the cruise.

Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. No complaints with either process.

Port Reviews

Galveston

When we arrived at the port, we had pre-paid for parking. There was only one line to get in, and a lot of the people had not paid yet. It took quite a while, and I was disappointed that they did not have a line for people who had pre-paid. This would have saved a lot of time. When we were leaving, things were much easier. There were lots of shuttles, so it didn't take too long.

Cozumel

Our group had a wonderful time with our dune buggy excursion! Our guides, Juan and Hernan, were excellent! We booked through Shore Trips.
