We had this cruise booked for many months. Weeks before sailing we heard on the news about the "tilt" on the Sunshine. We also had a friend who was on that specific sailing and told us not to cancel our trip, that he had a great time. I personally was very apprehensive about going because of the ship tilting. But we listened and took the cruise.
For starts, embarkation was "FLAWLESS". We were on the ship within 10 minutes. Here are the specifics:
THE CABIN: We got an interior cabin with a king sized bed deck 7. The bed was amazing!! I wish I could've taken it home, along with the pillows and the comforter. The space was adequate for two adults. Closet space was plenty, but there could've been more drawer space. And also we found that the bathroom was too small. But... we made it work. The water temp was perfect. The shower was amazing, the water felt great. Everything worked perfectly fine including the television which gave us movies and continuous information about the cruise and activities.
Again, the cabin was a decent size for 2 adults with enough closet space but needs more drawers. The TV was great. The bed and bedding was fantastic. We loved the shower, but the bathroom is too small. Overall for the price, it's worth it. Next cruise though we want to try a balcony. Never booked one before.
Beautiful beaches, plenty of shopping and places to eat.
Very unique place to visit. Shops and dining and a big casino/hotel.
Best port of all. Beaches, shopping and massive sized pool next to Margaritaville all right next to each other and next to the ship. Can't ask for anything better if you're not taking a shore excursion.
