I enjoyed the food. It was excellent. They still do lobster tails on the 2nd formal dinner, which they called "chic night".... lovely ship. Well maintained, very pretty and modern with nice vibe in the main dining room and in the seaview eating area. Love how you can walk out the back and eat outside. The staff is incredible. So friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond. Disembarkation was fine but we had to wait a bit for our transfer which was booked through Celebrity. The weather was amazing so we weren't in a hurry since our flight was six hours later anyway. I went with my 89-year-old mom and a wheelchair. She was treated like the Queen. Our cabin was big, open, clean and the balcony was lovely. Every time we came back it was spotless. There were so many activities and we had a short stint in the medical area due to a fever mom developed on day 2. They were so professional and amazing - very assuring and quick to see us. Not cheap but we had insurance. The Blue Lagoon shore excursion was excellent. We had a great time there and on the way there from Nassau to Blue Lagoon, the boat was so fun, the crew very entertaining singing and dancing with the passengers. The old and new San Juan excursion is a bus tour and the buses are old. Ours had a flat and we could not finish our tour. We docked there at 4 pm and that is too late to see anything out of bus windows. We did get to the San Cristobal Fort before the sun set and managed to see the graveyard. So many people take this tour it almost feels like they herd you onto buses and I would not recommend this tour at all. Better to book private tours or go off on your own. I will say the ship never really felt crowded and there were many things to do but we were there to relax and used our balcony a lot. We did go to a few shows. Not really my cup of tea, as I am not a big fan of this new trend to combine dancing with acrobatics and opera with the shows. I like a good old fashioned 60s or 70s or 80s or 90s show with dancing and songs I know. Just my preference. Topper was too "out there" for my liking. I found I liked the two rock/country singers Raegar the best on the trip. The pool in the solarium is lovely as is the hot tub. The outdoor pools could be bigger. Not enough hot tubs for everyone on the main pool decks. Lovely area though. Never many seats available. They could use more tables to sit at on the pool deck. I had no problem with the tender in Punta Cana... it was a quick ride. They handled it well. My first time there so we walked around and bought a pass to an all day inclusive. Very nice. The trip to Emerald Beach in St. Thomas was a cheap 5 min cab ride and its a great beach, and I have been to St. Thomas three times so I knew I wanted something quick and cheap. Spent the day there. Have never been dissappointed in St. Thomas. Overall a memorable trip and definitely will now consider Celebrity in my top two cruiselines!!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1C

Cabin 1C

We loved our cabin. Our balcony was huge. Mom has a wheelchair so we do get accessible rooms. So clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were good, the room service was great... the shower was amazing. Could use a bit more storage for hanging clothes but really not a problem ... overall that cabin has been the best one we have had yet, though Norwegian had a great one too.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

We love St. Thomas, and have been here several times. The best place to go for your money is Emerald Beach. $4 cab ride takes 5 minutes. The water is fantastic and the beach is not too crowded. Megans bay is nice but it takes a long ride to get there and the driving is scary. The view from mountain top is something everyone should do but I have done it and Emerald Beach is my go to place in St. Thomas.
