It wasn't all bad, just mostly. The video presentation in "Q-sine", one of the specialty restaurants, was very entertaining and clever. Food throughout the ship was good, possibly their strongest asset. Service, however, often lacked and on 3 occasions, wait times at the table between courses were extreme, ie. 45 minutes or more. False information was not corrected and resulted in extra charges. Reception could not fix it as they simply were not empowered to do so. Bar waiters took unpleasant short cuts to meet demand they were not staffed for and getting a drink was often a challenge. The water supply in the cabin turned brown for a couple hours indicating maybe the maintenance of the plumbing isn't so good. Entertainment at the shows and music around the ship was pretty good even if not great vocals. Variety of activities was also good even if not well executed. The staff who were leaving seemed especially happy while most were just going through the motions. The most egregious thing that happened was being told that our purchased concierge package included 4 specialty restaurant visits to which we used 3 of the 4 then told that was false! When trying to resolve that bill with reception, it became clear how a guest is simply a number with dollar signs behind them. The same level of interest they showed me as a customer will be returned to them the next time I chose a brand to cruise with.
