Loved the smaller ship. Perhaps because it was right after a holiday, there were very few children. Of course, the bigger ships have more for kids to do. The crew were wonderful. We love the Norwegian freestyle where we can dine where and when we like. It’s so laid back. We liked the way the buffet is divided into stations with many ethnic foods. It was much easier to get around, and we loved the outdoor space where they had another buffet area. There was a Panamanian narrator on board who talked us through the locks providing history and information we would never have known otherwise. Our mini-suite was the nicest cruise cabin we’ve ever had, and our steward was awesome. We enjoyed the thermal suites, although they were divided into male and female which meant we couldn’t stay together. We thought the entertainment was mediocre, although others really liked it. We thought 11 days might be too long, but we loved it. Disembarkation was not good, delays and very long lines.
Large room and balcony. Separate toilet closet with sliding door, tub with shower, curtain between bed and sitting room, coffee and tea maker. Bed was not the best but okay.
