Overall the cruise, its' itinerary, food, and accommodations were fine. Enjoyed good meals in the main dining rooms and excellent dinners in Cagney's, Ocean Blue, and La Cucina. I recommend the Special Dining Package. I was very disappointed in the shore excursion for Roatan. It was offered by our cruise agency but was very overstated. I don't recommend any 5 hour tour by land and sea. The description of the tour was far from accurate. I was also disappointed in The Vibe; a private section of the upper deck which you have to purchase for $129.00 for the week. It was smaller than the Escapes' and it didn't offer the amenities we received two years ago. Even tho I loved swimming with the dolphins, the highlight of our cruise was in Costa Maya. A couple from California, (also cruisers), fell in love with Costa Maya and decided to open a "resort for the day" type alternative and named it MAYA CHAN. They just celebrated their 8th Anniversary. It's all inclusive (water activities, pool, great lunch buffet, open bar, plenty of palapas(?) and lounge chairs, and excellent service. Being a spelling nut, I was surprised to see so many misspelled words on the ship: on the menus, clearance signs by the shops, and on two signs on Deck 8 indicating the direction of "saterooms"! Living in Florida made our disembarkation really easy. By the time we got off the ship, our luggage was easily spotted and our walk to the parking garage un-crowded.

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Very nice, roomy for one person. Never met my cabin steward? The balcony is partially obstructed. The deck on 15 overhung my balcony.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

It was ok, took a lot of pictures, I'm used to private islands where we can use our cruise-issued cards.
