The ship and staff were awesome. Pleasant, professional, wonderful energy. The cruise director and program director were first rate. The food was ok. The chef was very accommodating to some special diet issues I had. The excursions both included and optional were very good with qualifed and pleasant guides.The itinerary was perfect for our needs. Tailor made for us. This was our first ever cruise so we had no idea what to expect in terms of cabin and service. Everything was first class. Next time we will take a suite.We did not travel with children.

We took the pre-excursion package in Paris and our hotel was great as was the Viking concierge. Very helpful. We also appreciated the assistance at the airport. We were very much attended to, as we navigated to the gate.

We particularly enjoyed meeting our fellow cruisers and learning about their lives, experiences etc. We had fun and also had very endearing conversations throughout the week. Read more
