This was listed as a jazz cruise and was fulfilled,at least for us, more than expected. My husband loves jazz. The group that was put together by J. Tate are not known to the general public, but among the music world top notch. They are the backbone of most major groups today.
Jazz was just part of the entertainment as you still had shows every night and music in the Crystal Cove Lounge. Palm Court, Starlight and Avenue Saloon.
Lectures are always outstanding on Crystal and Jamey Tate did several very interesting lectures on music over the course of the cruise. The cuisine and service are as good as ever, some of the personnel that were on our first cruise 24 years ago are still serving on the ship which says a lot of a company.
The cabin is for us still comfortable with two sinks in the bathroom great on formal nights and plenty of storage for personal items. This trip was 13 days, but we have been in this type of cabin for over 30 days without and problems. We store our luggage under the bed and when we need more of anything just ask and it appears. We traveled back and forth between time zones and the attendant always changed the clocks.
Interesting mostly for diving
This was a combined tour also with gardens, rum and chocolate learned a lot. did not climb the falls as it was very busy.
What can one say about New Orleans that has not already been stated. Love the city
