We just returned from the 10-day Mexican Riviera cruise out of San Francisco. I should preface this review that this was my very first cruise. I am 62 and retired. Middle class.

Embarkation was a breeze. Quick and easy, with polite, friendly, helpful shore-side staff.

I had read a lot of reviews about the Grand Princess being a little run down. This being my first cruise I had nothing to compare it to, but aside from a few rusty spots and some worn carpet here and there, I had no problems with the condition of this ship.
