I took this cruise solo, but was part of a larger group for some of the social activities. It was my first time on Royal Caribbean and my first time on the latest and greatest mega ship. Embarkation was a breeze.

I had an interior room on the 12th floor. There was plenty of space for me (one person). I loved the layout and the bathroom design. I wasn’t bothered by any noises from outside my cabin. The room steward was very efficient and good.

I never ate at the main dining room. Instead, I ate at specialty restaurants for dinner (Wonderland, Izumi Hibachi, Jamie’s Italian, Hooked). Or I would get a quick bite at places like Park Cafe, Solarium Bistro, Boardwalk Dog House, Cafe Promenade, Sorrento’s, Vitality Cafe, and Windjammer.

Port Reviews

Marseille

Booked with Provence Wine Tours and would do it again in a heartbeat. One of the best excursions.

Naples

Booked with Culinary Backstreets (a company I’ve used in other cities). Wonderful tour. Great food. Definitely off the beaten track. I’d have never found these places on my own.
