We wanted to see the islands in the southern Caribbean and we wanted to try a Celebrity cruise, since we'd heard and read that this was a great line. The crew members were great and the holiday decorations, especially the staircase, were fantastic. Plus, we had perfect cruise weather.

This cruise was just average. We cruise because we like seeing new places, dining out every night and having live entertainment in the evening. We've been on about 12 cruises on several lines and last year's 10 night Princess cruise was far better than this one.

The food was above average, in my opinion. But the main dining rooms were so crowded and noisy that we couldn't enjoy dining in them. We used the dining room on only 4 of 12 nights. We used the buffet every other night because at least we could have a conversation that way. But we didn't choose an upscale cruise because we wanted to eat in the cafeteria. Read more
