We are Elite members with 20 years of cruising. For 2 complete days on Emerald Princess (Dec 6 and Dec7) from 7:00am to 5:00pm there was an extremely loud noise near our cabin. We could not talk, hear each other or relax in our mini-suite.. There was a metal bumping, beating other metal near our balcony for the whole day. Was it a necessity to do such job on the sea days? Generally, the whole cruise was a disaster. The procedure of entering Fusion Club for “Captain Circle” was humiliating and incredible disrespectful. For example, the Entertaining Director Lisa was more to per-occupied only collecting the invitation from people than showing people how special and important they are. Lisa even did not want to look at the faces of the passengers or reply on our greeting, for example. The Cruise Director was a very young girl, who acted as a child. The "Wake show" was very unintelligent and just low class. The Cruise Ass. Director - a young girl from Mexico - was openly and inappropriate flirting with many men in front of their wives. There was a very poor entertainment, and the main activities on board were "Trivia". The room service was very slow, confusing and often mixed our orders. The room steward was barely working. The spa is extremely expensive. The whole activities were designed just to sell something to people. Our 12 friends who usually cruise with us every Dec.4 to Hawaii did not have any place to dance, because the good Ballroom band played in a very small space of the “Wheel house”. We want to get a refund for 2 of lost vacation days which were created by the fault of the ship.

The room steward was barely working. We asked him several times for things what he suppose to know in advance without our reminding. Also, we were charged for the bottles of water, even it was advertised that the Elite members have it for free.
