Just completed a 2 week trip to the Caribbean
The ship is very impressive with great staff
Itinerary was good including port visits to Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada and the ABC Islands
Spacious, clean just what we expected
Took local taxi from port to Dickenson Bay $12 each way for 4 adults, around 10/15 minutes
Beach umbrella and 2 beds cost $20 per couple
Swam to Kon Tiki Bar & Grill (Floating Bar) for a few beers, they will take you and bring you back by boat if you don’t want to swim, just stand on beach and wave, we came back on boat
Took local taxi from port to Browns Beach (Carlisle Bay) $5 each for single journey, if you tell them your return time you are given a ticket and you taxi will pick you up on time (10 mins from ship)
You go through a hotel/restaurant to the beach and sun beds and umbrella’s plus Wi-Fi cost $20 per couple
This is one of the beaches that tour operators bring guests to swim with the turtles, so if you are a good swimmer you and do this for free (around 150 metres from beach)
The beach is long white sand which is fabulous, and the café/restaurant serves good food and drink at reasonable prices
You can walk from the ship to town in around 10 minutes and a taxi to the local beach (Mambo Beach) is only 10 minutes away $5 per person.
Shopping here is tax free with lots to choose from
