Have been on eight Viking cruises. Five river and three ocean but we prefer the river cruises. However, Viking has raised the prices to the point where we are doing other types of travel. Someday we hope to get back to Viking river cruises. Did not particularly care for Columbia. Since we had already visited half of the ports this cruise was probably a waste of our time and money. Would be good if it was for someone who had never been to the ports. Would like to see more excursions to include half days (not in the AM) at beaches (not at hotel resorts). Staff is always friendly and many go out of their way to do above and beyond assistance. Cabin was usually cleaned for when returned back to the ship and mini-bar was always filled with our preferred beverage. We enjoy the specialty restaurants but when we made three for the Chef's Table they made all three for the same meal and we never did get the Asian dinner as requested.
