We chose a double Viking cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary & they met all expectations! Michael, our cruise director was outstanding & was off board for all the walking & specialty tours, making as many as any one person could possibly accomplish. His nightly next day shore excursion talks were delightful & coupled with Veronica, the sommelier's talk & backed up by the chef, it was a real entertaining laugh. I looked forward to it every night. Veronica gave us extra table talk on wines each night on the Silver Spirits package.

Rooms are simple and clean with lots of storage space. Our cabin steward was meticulous to cleanly detail each day. We had a veranda which allowed for shore views when not on deck.

The excursions all had excellent guides, as would be expected in this pricey range. The connection to Paris by high speed rail was excellent, as Viking staff took personal care of our luggage leaving the ship, tagging & then escorting us to the train station & even punching our ticket & boarding the train.
