Sail Date: Dec 2018

We were very disappointed in the room we had while on board. I booked this trip in July of 2018. The room we received did not match the description of what the Carnival agent told us it would be. We spoke to customer care and they acted like it wasn't a big deal. They emailed corporate, no response back until the 7th day of the trip. The food selection on buffet was not good. Everyday you found less and less to eat that was worth eating. The housekeeping staff and Chef Chaing from Singapore were the only friendly individuals that we got to know. The cruise director was fun and awesome, but everyone else sucked. We always wait until on board to purchase shore excursions so to get a little bit more information and feedback from shore excursions staff. We got none of that just basically what you want to do? Plus the shore excursions in Amber Cove was not as they advertised it to be. Also our air conditioning in our room didn't stay cool....again a nonchalant attitude by customer care. Plus when they finally called me back about the room we got the gentleman customer service person was excuse my French an asshole. He was argumentative, kept saying we have recording of your booking....but that can't be so as I did not book it with a female agent that he kept referring too. The internet service was a waste of money. It will be a long long time before we book with Carnival again. It's all about money to them and less about customer service.

The ports we great. The entertainment was good. We didn't care for the comedian Jeff Shaw as he wasn't funny

Cabin Review

Cabin Panorama floor balcony room

Cabin cleanliness was great. Air conditioning was poor. On nights we wanted to relax at pool watch a movie it was too crazy with little teens filling hot tub and being over the top loud making it difficult to hear the movie. Wish they had pay per view options on t.v. in cabin like on other ships

Port Reviews

Miami

Loved San Juan and the window cave experience. Loved the Grand Turk excursion on the mini hummers. We also enjoyed the excursion from St Thomas to St John where we took the nature tour.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Didn't care for the excursion as it wasn't described right by the shore excursion representative.

St. Thomas

Loved our tour guide on St John and the ferry boat staff from St Thomas to St John.

San Juan

Our driver to the excursion and back was awesome. He was very friendly as well. The staff at the cave experience were the best. Knowledge was superior.

Grand Turk

Great experience and tour guides we so friendly and funny.
