Too much walking on uneven surfaces for a tourist with a cane. The worst part was the steep ramps in and out of the ship up the river bank to the shore. Then, I could only handle half of the windmill tour, and skipped the castle on the hill completely by taking the funicular at my own expense down to street level immediately. Had a great time at the Xmas Fair there, and at all the other Xmas Fairs and Medieval Cathedrals even though I'm not Christian. The Black Forest covered in white snow was beautiful, and the Audie Murphy battlefield excursion was incredibly memorable. The wifi and the use of public shipboard computers was a waste of time. Poor satellite reception meant slow turnaround times if any at all. If you have time, you're better off using wifi at a cafe on shore. The food was always delicious, but seating is not reserved. The dining room does not seat the entire passenger contingent so we had to eat the final night farewell banquet alone in the upper deck breakfast nook.
Hard to use the drawers because there was very little clearance trying to open them.
Too much walking but a beautiful Cathedral worth the walk.View All 125 City Tour Reviews
The walking tour of the castle appeared too strenuous with too many steps and no elevator, so I took the funicular to the street level Xmas Fair and bought a refillable cup of Glühwein and had a great time.
