We chose this cruise because we were on the Reflection last year and enjoyed it, we were happy to see a new Cruise Director this year, as we didn't care for the Cruise Director last year.
Something has changed in the past few yearss, the Assistant Cruise Director, who used to do such a good job at events now seems invisible on the ship. This was noticed last year and even more so this year.
Unfortunately the ship entertainment seemed to cater to the elderly passengers for most of the cruise.
The shows were poor in the Theatre, we've always, until this cruise enjoyed going to most of the theatre performances, this cruise we chose to stay away most nights.
I agree with others who say there is way too much upselling on the ship. I don't want to be pushed into select dining everynight., We were Aqua Spa so we've already paid a big difference to dine in the Blu Dining Room.
Enjoyed the Blu very much, the service is alway great and the greetings warm and welcoming. The food was good at dinner, chose mostly not to go to Blu for breakfast.
Our room steward was great, for the most part the service was good, but I agree, the service at the pool was non existent.
The Cafe Bacia gave outstanding service, always greeting guests nicely and making every effort to make the guests experience a good one.
Both embarkment and disembarkment went flawlessly.
Enjoyed all of the ports.

The Ap doesn't work on Android phones but we didn't know this until about the 3rd night when it showed we had a tender when we didn't. We missed events because the event did not show on the Ap. I wish, if it was known to be inaccurate that would have been explained so that we wouldn't have counted on the Ap to show the up coming events.
When we went to the service counter we found the staff to be very helpful.
Do the crew get the gratuities or not? I feel that 18% on a premium drink package should cover drink gratuities but it seems everyone expects to be tipped above this amount. Makes me wish the manditory graduities were not in place since so many passengers feel they need to say thank you for good service, yet this has already been paid with the package.
Clean, good service
