Sail Date: Dec 2018
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom with Shower

We wanted some sunny weather and a Christmas cruise and had expected younger guests with families. 90% of the guests were 70 years old + and infirm in a multitude of ways. There were few children on board.

Oceana is a relatively small ship. The lifts are very poor and the central group do not cover all the floors. The computer control of stopping was useless. The decor is dull and tired, mostly dull wood finish. Conversely the ship must be congratulated on their superb Christmas decorations all over the ship.

The entertainment dancers and singers were superb and put on performances every other night. The two theatres - front and back of the ship made for a good choice of entertainers.
