My family and I go in a cruise at least once a year. First time going on MSC and most definitely the last. The customer service is nonexistent. I upgraded the drink package because I only drink Grey Goose sour Apple Martinis. For a weeklong New Years cruise the ship only had 1 half full bottle of Puckers (apple mix tu make the drink). Whenever I would ask for the drink I would be told they didn’t make that. I only found 1 bar crew member, Edison, that would actually track down the bottle for me so he could prepare my sour apple martinis. I was able to drink for 2 days before the puckers ran out. I was actually told at a bar to buy the mix myself when we got to an island. When I went to complain at guest services I asked to speak to the bar manager and was told he was all over the ship and I could not speak to him even though I said I would go wherever he was. For the other people in our group most bars are closed before midnight or run out of the higher end liquor. Unlike other lines that bar crew walks around to take your order, at seaside you have to hunt them down or pray they know how to make what you drink when you find an open bar. Food was also horrible. Unless you love pizza and pasta you will actually feel hungry. Furthermore the protein portions are minuscule. I would have to hunt down the room Stewart for extra towels daily and even though I requested wash clothes and ice daily only got them once. On days at sea there was nowhere to exchange your beach towels. The shows and entertainment were also pretty bad. I’ll stick to Royal Caribbean and NCL even the worst Carnival Cruise was better than this. Oh the shower/bathrooms are made for petite skinny people. I’m full of bruises from banging on everything in there. There also no storage room in the balcony rooms.

Cabin Review

Fantastica Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

It was always hot, AC does not cool. Safe was broken for first 3 days. After 6 requests/complaints it took a crew member less than 5 minutes to fix it. Other than small closet and 2 drawers there’s no storage space. Extremely small and tight bathroom.
