Sorry but of a long review but I hope it’s helpful. This was our 4th cruise but first time with Celebrity, normally we cruise with Royal Carribean. Friends of ours had completed a 14 night cruise in 2017 and raved about it so much we just had to go on one, unfortunately we could only get a 12 night cruise to suit our dates, we booked and our friends actually booked the same cruise. We never completed a cruise longer than 7 nights and yep we have caught the bug for longer cruises. For 2019 again we couldn’t get a long cruise so have booked some B2B2B (cannot wait)

Getting on board the ship was very quick, we were onboard before 12noon ( the taxi drive to the port took longer) The ship is beautiful, clean including the pools and the staff are so helpful and always have a smile, we enjoyed chatting with them especially our waiters in the MDR, one night we went to Tuscan Grill and we missed our two waiters couldn’t wait to get back to them. We ate our breakfast and lunch in the Oceanview Cafe, and at the Pool Grill on a few occasions which has burgers and hot dogs. The ship was full but it never felt busy, one of my favorite things to do was grab a coffee from Cafe Bacio and relax in the solarium in the morning followed by a light breakfast in the Spa Club Cafe I was so relaxed. You could get food at any time during the day and the pizza is lovely, wasn’t a fan of the afternoon tea this wasnt like afternoon tea it’s more that they have just used the title. It basically was just loads of desserts and some sandwiches but not miniature in the afternoon nothing great. The night club is small in comparison to what we were used to on Royal but we still used it. The Martini Bar is definitely a place to go not only for the drinks but the entertainment the bar staff provide whilst making them very like ‘Cocktail’ the movie, any time we went for a drink they did not disappoint. We didnt go to any of the theatre shows but our friends did, they said the comedians were disappointing but the musical style shows and magician was good. We went to the ‘Life Activity’ show Liar Liar which was very funny, for adults only though. Sue the Cruise director definitley goes above and beyond she was at EVERYTHING.

Our Stateroom was bigger than we thought with a large shower, not much shelving but you find some extra above your bed. (Which we didn’t realize until talking to a fellow passenger on day 2!) There was a small few movies to watch for free, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

Good size stateroom, with reasonably large bathroom. The view off our balcony was not obstructed.
