We paid a small fortune for what was supposed to be a two-days-in-havana cruise. THIS CRUISE IS NOT TWO DAYS IN CUBA!! We spent a half day in Cuba (only Havana, because there is not a lot of time to go anywhere else) before the sun went down and it became too dark to see the sights. Day two is from midnight to 2:00am, which isn't a "day" at all. Very misleading Royal Caribbean!

Havana walking tour was excellent and Cable beach in Nassau was picture perfect. This ship, however, was disappointing. It's small, old, and rundown. It is not a smooth sailing ship at all. You can feel every wave. The interior cabins are cramped and falling apart. The food was good at times in the sit down place, but inconsistent. The front of the restaurant is next to the very loud (and just as bad) karaoke lounge. Not a quiet dinner at all. We asked for a table in the back of the restaurant on the next night and ended up right over engine or something like that. It felt like riding in a buggy all night. The buffet was good for breakfast, but just so-so for dinner. We couldn't wait to get off this cruise and finally relax in Florida for a couple of nights before going home. I will spend my money elsewhere next time.

To give credit where credit is due, we had no issues with the service. Staff was friendly and helpful. And they put the Browns game on the big screen, which was, by far, the best part of being stuck on that ship.

My silverware drawer is roomier. Bathroom flooded and door handle fell off.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale after the cruise. Excellent choice on our part, because I wouldn't have wanted to end my vacation with that cruise. Atlantic Hotel was gorgeous and just what we needed.

Nassau

We took a taxi to Cable beach and rented chairs for the day. Fantastic, affordable, and easy.

Havana

Izzy was a fantastic guide! We loved everything she taught us and the city is beautiful, if a bit run down.
