I chose this ship because of the itinerary. I wanted to see South America especially the end of the world.
First the good things...Great Food, friendly staff , comfortable cabin.
But...many of the stops were at container ports with strict security so just walking off the ship was often not possible.
Clean, pleasant , with a too soft mattress , linens of good quality.
Room steward excellent. Quiet and comfortable , not too far from the elevator. My cabin was forward , one closer to midship would have made navigating to venues easier.
Flew in , went to the ship, embarking was simple and fast
not a good port for ships this is a resort community for all inclusive travelers. Puerto Vallarta is a much better stop, it is a well situated cruise port , easy on off the ship, lots to see and do.
a good choice of Peruvian hand & machine made goods
ancient cultures well explained
usual statues as seen in many Latin American cities
enjoyed the shopping, museum very good narration of what we were seeing.
a good selection of baby alpaca items with reasonable pricing
At first I thought there were lots of penguins but there were a lot more to come at other stops
This was the reason I chose this cruise...It is sparsely populated and quite barren with strong winds , choppy seas and a very long tender ride.I wanted to see it so am glad I went
Took a Cab to Manuel Antonio Park. Great beach..iguanas , parrots
the high lite of my trip...pleasantly surprised. More than met my expectations.
Big city , traffic jams. Finally went to the airport and waited for my flight
