Sail Date: Dec 2018

We chose back to back 7 days for Christmas and New Years. The Christmas week was good; however, the 2nd cruise beginning Dec 29 was as if you were on a totally different ship. AND, no one cared. Food in Horizon Court was NEVER close to being hot; however, we overlooked that the first 7 days when there was variety to our liking. However, the food during the 2nd 7 days was generally warmed over from lunch, and typically was not appealing. Lack of healthy food choices so I usually opted for the salad bar. Even the salad bar was lacking compared to other Princess ships and even worst, lettuce the 2nd week consisted almost entirely of ice burg - not acceptable for even a budget cruise line. Choices were repetitive and deserts were almost always the same. We expected the service and food to be similar to Regal; it was not. Neither were the attitudes of the staff.

You could never get consistent information from passenger service employees and they lacked follow through. Comedians were the best entertainment offered. Production shows were lacking. Cruise director was non existent except for introducing nightly entertainment. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, he was just rather different than we've experienced on most cruises.
