The last time we went on Arcadia was before her refit so was pleasantly surprised when we saw her again and saw how sympathetically P&O had done the refurbishment. The ship always flowed naturally and even with the insertion of new rooms and a longer Rising Sun Pub which was always packaged. We had a deluxe balcony cabin which had also been refurbished and was nice. The only fault we have is the air conditioning which you can only switch higher or lower and not turn off completely. We had second seating for dining and a table for two which we prefer and had lovely waiters who couldn't do enough for you and there was always something on the menu you could have. The Headliners shows were the best on this ship to any that we have seen before. And this troop was superb. The other entertainment brought on where really hit & miss and only the Basetones and Bruce Parker were to my liking. There's was always something going on throughout the day and if you wanted something to do, there was always something there. Our ports of call were good and a couple we had not been to before.

Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Cabin DE

Lovely cabin with a balcony that unfortunately we couldn't make too much use of. We had a great Cabin steward who always made sure our cabin was clean & tidy when we needed it.

Port Reviews

Hamilton

Great driver who took the four of us round the island and stopped in Hamilton for a little while. Really loved Bermuda and would go again.

St. Lucia

Got a local driver Alton to take us on a 5hr tour of the island and had a great time.

Barbados

Had a great driver Brenda who took us all over the place for 3hrs and it was very enjoyable

We went to Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill twice while we were onboard and made sure we covered both the Menu's by leaving time between visits. We loved the food on both menu's even though they were completely different and apart from the £15.00 per person supplement there are some menu items that have an additional charge as well but well worth the extra as you could never get this sort of dining in a London restaurant for this type of money.

We only did one excursion that P&O organised as I am disabled & most of the excursions arranged by then were not suitable for me as they used mostly large coaches that I can't get on. We did manage to book other transportation online which was cheaper & sorted me much better.
