We chose the Allure of the Seas because we wanted to usher in 2019 on a cruise ship. The Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas was the perfect choice. They hosted an awesome New Years party. Will do it again in 2020.

Everything was perfect, the embarkment and the disembarkation was perfect as well. Royal Caribbean did a great job moving all their guest ( all 6,000) of us onto and off the ship. We were not herded onto the ship, but was allowed check-in at our leisure and treated as guest. The check-in and the disembarkation process was smooth and easy.

We had a suite with a balcony. Our suite size was reasonable for two people. Kudos to our room steward; she was excellent. She was attentive to our needs. I'm an early morning person so I loved being greeted every morning with a heartfelt "good morning" with a smile. In fact, all the stewards on our floor would always greet you with "good morning" and a smile. Loved it.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

This port is great for shopping.

San Juan

Walk the entire historical section of Old San Juan. Dotted into shops to purchase souvenirs. Enjoyed the Architecture.

Labadee

This port was so much fun. It's the perfect gathering place for all the guest on the ship. So much to do. In fact, it felt like a family reunion. We enjoyed playing all types of games and had lunch together in group setting. The food was excellent and really enjoyed playing volleyball.
