Beautiful ship! Some Good points and some improvements needed.

Review for the Southern Caribbean Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

Embarcation: My wife and I and another couple went on an end of November Southern Cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. The Ship is beautiful and the embarkation process is amazing considering the amount of cruisers that show up at the same time. The lineup seemed long but we were on the ship very quickly.

Food: The food at the main dining room is okay. We didn't have any issues with the food. It was just okay, but after a few nights decided that we would like to try the specialty restaurants because we wanted to have a better dining experience. We chose Murano and Qsine which was the highlight for our dining on the cruise. The food and service at both is amazing. Qsine is a culinary and visionary experience that you need to experience. We also had chosen the Dine anytime option and when the four of us went for dinner we were given a pager to notify us when a table was ready. A few times we had to wait more than 30 minutes but we would go to the wine cellar to have a glass of wine and wait. The wine cellar machines that you could sample a few ounces of different wines were all out of order for this cruise so we would have to wait for the waiter to pour us a glass from the shelf. It was also quite busy and the waiting times were long. If you don't want to wait for dining you might want to consider set time dining but we were okay to wait.

The Ports including Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are amazing. Even if you are not going on an excursion please walk to the nearby shops in Bonaire. What a lovely place!
