Cabin: Veranda Stateroom
We had already done one river cruise and enjoyed it so much discussion we decided on the Grand European Tour. It had many of the things we were interested in.
Although we arrive late in the afternoon and were tired from the long trip we did enjoy the harbour tour in Budapest for the lights of the city.
Arrival and embarkation was smooth even though some confusion arose because of the low water levels and a last minute change of departure ships.

The cabin is compact but efficient. Enough room for us to relax after a long day. Enough storage to stow 4 large suit cases of clothes and stuff. WE chose the main level Veranda stateroom as we wanted to be on the water level and to have a balcony to enjoy the nice weaather and scenery with a glass of wine.

Due to low water levels we had to change ships but this was planned and handled extremely well.
