Sail Date: Apr 2018

Outstanding tour of lots of ports all around Europe. An introduction to the many different cultures. With an included excursion in every port and included speciality restaurants this an exceptional value. We will be sailing on Viking Sky in two weeks and another cruise in August. Viking met us at the airport and within an hour we were embarked and in our stateroom, this left us with time to explore the city and do a food tour. There is always some sort of entertainment onboard, ranging from a solo acoustic guitar to a stage play to dance lessons. I highly recommend the included Chef’s Table speciality restaurant, five course meal with wine pairings, small portions that will leave you satisfied. The menu changes every 2 or 3 days. Viking offers hands on cooking classes as an extra that are fun for non chefs (like me), wine tastings, and mixology classes. Be sure to ask about them during embarkation. I like their Silver Spirits drink package, at about $20 a day you get everything on the bar and premium wine at meals.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Verandah

Very nice cabin with all the necessities. 2 USB ports on both night stands, plenty of US style outlets. Suitcases fit under the bed.

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

Love Amsterdam!! Nice quiet ride around the canals and the city.

Berlin

The ship was docked in Warnemunda which was a long train ride from Berlin. We opted to stay in the local area and walked around the town. Had an outstanding schnitzel at a local restaurant along with a very good local beer.

Tallinn

We took a Viking offered tour that was about Tallinn under the Soviets. The tour guide played a local Soviet officer and showed us some of the sights. Fun, informative, and included some vodka.
