The Viking Sea is a lovely ship. The cabins are very comfortable and there are many areas around the ship comfortable for just hanging out or reading. The excursions were really great, both included and optional. The catamaran lobster lunch and the Virgin Gorda hike really stood out for us. The walking tour of Old San Juan was also good and ended in a pub crawl of old San Juan for some of us.

The food on the ship was good, we mostly ate at the buffet and the special menus were particularly good. We purchased the silver spirits package which we felt was a good value.

Both embarkation and disembarkation was more efficient than on other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Cabin V2-veranda

We’ve sailed on higher decks but enjoyed being lower and closer to some of the amenities. The cabins are beautiful with efficient storage and generous toiletries. Ship WiFi was decent (and included) and the entertainment selection on the tv was extensive.
