Price of the Rhine Getaway Cruise was too good not to go. This was our first cruise and first time overseas. This trip was a dream come true for us. Viking treats their guests like royalty from the time you arrive at the airport and after you have departed for the return trip home. We booked a two day stay in Lucerne, Switzerland and there was always Viking representatives at the hotel to help you with any questions and a Viking representative met us at the airport in Zurich and again in Amsterdam. While on the ship we were completely spoiled by the constant attention, the fantastic food, and the comfortable cabins. The crew members made the trip so fun. All of the included excursions were excellent with very knowledgeable tour guides. We would definitely book with Viking again because of how they treat their guests and we love the fact that an excursion is included at each stopped port. We also love the notion of traveling on a smaller ship instead of a larger ship with thousands of people. All in all this was a great memorable trip and I cannot wait until our next one with Viking.
