Our cruise to the Mediterranean was our 2nd cruise with Viking Ocean...first was to the Baltic in May of 2017...The last one was to the Mediterranean in October of 2018...had 2 weeks of perfect weather ...everything was great...tours were super...food & drink excellent. While we miss a casino, we didn't miss small children. Entertainment was so so. We went to Barcelona 3 days early...very smart as their is so much to see and visit. We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel...nice location and a very nice area on the roof for food, drinks and nice views of the city. Marseille was OK but Monte Carlo was very nice. Florence/Pisa and Rome is always interesting. Croatia residents were very friendly, both in Split and Dubrovnik. Overall, we really enjoyed the Mediterranean area even thought we had been here before on a RCCL cruise. Going to New Zealand/Australia the 23rd of January, 2019 on the Orion...hope to see some of you their.
