We chose this cruise because it suited the dates we wanted to be away.
The Good: The ship and cabin were nice and clean. The Staff in general work so hard!! They have so much energy!! We really appreciate their enthusiasm! We enjoyed the shows and had great time at the Mirabilis bar. New Year's Eve was a blast!
The Bad: Food was very plain, every day at the lunch buffet, they offered the same thing, over and over. The meat, chicken, and pork were dry and lacked of flavor. In the restaurant, the menu contained choices that really didn't jump on your eye. Nothing interesting or tasty. We didn't get the chance to pick our time for dinner when booking the cruise. We requested it to be changed and never heard back.
We didn't book it directly, but we registered on their website to pick some excursions. We never received any formal communication on the time of embarking and/or what to expect. We would have appreciated some details before hand.
Two of our excursions were canceled due to the wind at a very last minute, and the "excursion desk" was closed for business. We couldn't find any alternatives. The data plan was a bust... again not entirely clear what you were getting. The drink plan was decent. But sparkling water nor water of any kind was included.
As other reviewer said, you get what you pay for. The crew and social staff were wonderful, but because of the food and lack of communication we unfortunately won't go with Costa again.
Cabin was clean and confortable.
We booked an excursion to go on a Catamaran, but it was cancelled because of the wind. So we stayed right there at the beach by the ship. No alternatives were offered.

We enjoyed this tour. We rode around the main streets, including "Calle Ocho," had a sample of good Cuban coffee, and had the chance of buy some cigars. The ride on the bote around the islands was a little weird because the tour guide from the boat got into an argument with the tour guide from the bus. After the third house of one of the rich and famous... it got a little old. We enjoyed the history of Miami, Miami Beach and Fisher Island though.

Ride by open bus was long and rough, and bote didn't have enough "power equipment" for all the guests. But staff was very nice and friendly.
Day was very windy. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the ride to the beach, the beach itself (water was very rough) and food was all deep fried.
