Overall a great cruise and far more enjoyable than prior Princess cruises. It was also our first trip longer than a week.
Embarkation was very slow - 90 minutes from arrival to Boarding.
Cabin is reviewed separately but in general bathroom and balcony were good but the basic cabin was disappointing. Essentially Balcony Excellent, Bathroom Very Good, Cabin Poor.
Great Shower with excellent water pressure but awkward toilet placement.
Great Balcony.
Cabin itself was disappointing and not worth the substantial upcharge from a standard stateroom. While larger, the extra space was not evident due to poor fundamental cabin design. Far less spacious than the equivilant category on Princess despite being similar theoretical square footage.
Really disliked having the seating area near the door rather than adjacent to the balcony.
Always enjoy St. Martin, particularly Marigot on the French side. While still hindered by storm damage, our favorite shops and restaurants are back in business.
Beautiful Church on the hill and nicer than standard cruiseport shopping with local artisans mixed among the island chain shops.
Always a nice visit. The Synagouge and downtown shopping are always nice. Great Paella at the Amalia Cafe.
Much nicer than the Private Island associated with Princess. Nice clean sand and nice walking trails off the beach as well.
