They have one of the best itineraries in the Caribbean - 11 days South Caribbean with only 1 day at sea. Embarkation and disembarkation was very good organized.
Some crew employees are unhappy and sometimes it transpired making the service very poor. Food is not as good as other cruise lines we have travel with. During the Shore Excursion presentation in the first day, the manager of this department used the words "drama," "people crying," "I always have a box of tissues on the excursion desk for the people's sadness" and others, when referring to his passengers/clients. Cruise Director was not as present as in other cruise lines we have been. NCL may have issues in their leadership team, recruiting practices and/or the way their employees are treated. Ship was clean, balcony stateroom was ample and bathroom was really well designed with slider door in the shower and toilet room. Evening entertainment functions in the theater were superb. Musicals, magician, comedians, juggler and the cruise dancers and singers. We went on eight excursions organized by NCL because we have a credit towards shore excursions that made these excursions way cheaper then on our own. Five of them were over booked, some didn't even have seats for all the group, again poor client experience and bad service. The other three were very good (Best of Aruba, Double Deep Snorkel in Bonaire and Between the Pitons in St. Lucia.) I would recommend the itinerary but not the cruise line NCL.
Excellent room, ample, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is excellent. Balcony is in the small size when comparing with other cruise lines but still have a good size.
Excellent in a small group. The operator sail two boats in stead of one and it was comfortable as a result
Double Dip excursion the best experience possible snorkeling.
Excursion was Best of Aruba. It is not worth to take the submarine part of the excursion.
Seem to be a good overview of the island, its history and landmarks.
