My husband and I, along with 7 other couples booked this trip last minute to enjoy a "boat ride" basically - we really had no desire to see Cozumel or Key West again, but loved 2 sea days on a 5 day journey and we love using the ship. Unfortunately The Infinity needs refurbished NOW. I will start by saying - the staff made our journey exceptional, thankfully! Or we would have been bummed for 5 days straight. Upon arrival ( we all booked royal suites, as well as both the presidential suites and the family larger rooms in the rear of the ship. Getting on board as a suite guest was very easy and no issue - upon arrival we had lunch at Luminea which was fantastic. Then we got to our room. ( now I am the person that takes lysol wipes and cleans everything in the room upon arrival! ) but the Royal Suite was run down - cabinets scratched and marked up, mirrors dirty, the balcony rough and furniture showing rips in fabrics, etc - floor was very dirty. Hot Tub on balcony was filthy - Bathroom seemed pretty clean! The main issue was NO privacy on a Royal Suite balcony - they extend out midship and the show ship can watch you - we were pretty upset about this to be honest. How can you use your hot tub without flashing the guests? Learned a lesson to always ask to look at your room first which one of the managers said you can request in the future! Good to know! Our butler was so accommodating and friendly - always answered our call quick - and the manager and staff at Luminae ( suite dining room ) were just exceptional. Also the manager Wim at Michaels Lounge was over the top nice and helpful. The spa? Well... it's a joke. Don't do the Persian Garden - it's now what you see in the brochure on the solstice classes - we did not tour the spa prior buying ( you should always do this I have learned ) The massages were very good though - and hair salon. Just not a really nice spa area to relax. We are use to Neptune Suites on Holland America - and they had more suite amenities in my opinion. Like a Bose speaker that is wireless to play music - as well as coffee makers in room, The refrigerator in our room never got drinks cold - and the TV's were worn out - and no selection of shows or movies to watch - HA has Planet Earth and Netflix style series which made our other journeys fun when we wanted to settle in early for the night - or a rainy afternoon. The Michaels Lounge is located so far from the suites which If felt odd too. Not the end of the world...but just a note, HA Neptune Lounge is located on a floor with actual suites - so you could easily grab your coffee in the mornings - Just a note too = even our friends with the presidential suites had poor working hot tubs, etc - but in general these rooms were very nice and being in the rear was great to lay out , etc also had privacy ! We would have wine/ appetizers brought to their balconies and hosted our own cocktail hours which was fun. Other silly things that irked me ... no beach towels waiting for you in room ( had to always ask ) and always had to ask for toiletries.

The shopping on the ship was not good - no real variety or interesting stores - But the entertainment on the ship was over the top - and the music midship was always hopping and upbeat - Martini Bar always the fun hang out - The Deck 12 retreat area was very nice too. One other strange thing that I felt tacky - the art in the stairwell niches were cheesy - tiny and not impressive. They could fix this easy. The casino was hopping and had great staff -

The pool area though - thasotherapy pool was dirty and water features not working, etc

Cabin Review

Royal Suite

Cabin RS

Worn Out - Run Down and NO privacy on balcony at all. Very disappointing.

No amenities you normally get with a suite - like Bose speaker for music, coffee maker, extra towels, beach towels, etc.... Not very clean ( mirrors had smudges ) cabinets were marked up and in poor condition. Hot Tub on balcony as filthy - furniture hard and not comfortable. Refrigerator would not keep drinks cold - the lay out is nice ! Bathroom is a little crammed, but manageable. You could just see the age on the suite - and really outside on the balcony.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We tried to book a private yacht charger and the Celebrity tour person had not clue when the yacht left, therefore we didn't get to do the trip.
