Five Stars * * * * * for our 5th cruise with Thomson/Marella and the 2nd time for Pride of Panama. Booked through Sunwing, we flew from Toronto to Montego Bay, just under 4 hours, no time change. Aircraft (737) was a bit cramped but ok for the short flight. Immigration in Jamaica is always a bit unorganized, just take your time, make sure you have a pen.

Marella reps were in the terminal to direct us to the buses for transport to the ship. This is about a 30min ride depending on traffic. Driver was entertaining, even explained the meaning of KFC!

Boarding the ship was quick, just need to register your credit card, get your cruise cards and tag your baggage. Your baggage once tagged will be taken to the ship and left outside of your cabin. Bunch of locals hanging around wanting to move your luggage looking for tips etc, just ignore them. Read more
