Wanted a short cruise avoiding too many days at sea and to fly from a local airport.

Cabin was clean and of a reasonable size, however, bathroom dated and on turning on taps black water came out. Water pressure poor for most of the cruise and we had a leak underneath the sink and a toilet mis function. All reported to our excellent cabin steward.

On exploring the ship on our arrival there was remedial/maintenance work being carried out and this continued for a few days into the cruise. The swimming pools and whirlpools were closed for two days into the cruise. We were told that the ship had been in dry dock for ten days and it appeared as though the planned work had overrun, could be wrong but you can only report on what you see. Read more
