Santa here at last.

We chose this cruise to get away for Christmas and have a really relaxing time. It was just the job.

Check in and embarkation were so simple, so much nicer than going to an airport.

The cabin was fine, we had a balcony and were impressed by the amount of storage. Our steward looked after us brilliantly for the next 10 days.

Balcony Stateroom with Bath/Shower

Cabin IA

The bedroom area was fine. A bit narrow at one corner of the bed but overall very comfortable. Plenty of storage and the sofa was very useful. The TV was all but useless but then we did not come on the cruise to watch TV.

The bathroom is a little tired. We did had a problem with the flush but it was fixed at the first attempt by the maintenance team whilst we were off doing something else.

The balcony was fine but with an air temperature of -6 we didn’t spend much time on it.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Easy to walk into the town centre. Wonderful indeed.

Amsterdam

Terminal is really close to the central train station. Move away from Dam Square for the best of Amsterdam.

Brugge (Bruges)

We took the free cruise bus to the station and got a €5 return cruise special train ticket to Bruges. There’s nothing not to like about this beautiful city.
