What a wonderful time we had on the Viking Vidar. The service on the ship was outstanding, along with the food. Because their were so few people, the crew got to know you and you felt special. The cabin was well laid out and the heated floor in the bathroom put it over the top. The cabin and the ship were kept very clean. The head chef not only did excellent preparation of the food but also was very entertaining as he explained the meals we were going to have. The captain was also very informative and the explanation for each of the ports was very worthwhile. We did the pre and post stay and the hotels that Viking used were very high end. You also felt special at the airport when they greeted you in the terminal. We loved it so much we are doing a Viking ocean cruise this Summer.
