My review: THE SILVERSEA – SILVER MUSE.
The Silver Muse is simply a brilliant ship (the best I have ever sailed on) along with its excellent crew and all of its on-board facilities. It lierally floats on the ocean like a dream with its stabilizers holding it with almost no movement awareness on board.
Its 8 restaurants are all magnificently appointed with the best food at sea (beats Oceania by at least 10 points), wherever you turn the luxury of this ship is outstanding from its beautifully furnished and super spacious all-suite accommodation to it many lounges, good sized theatre, easy access staircases, several lifts, library and its many comfort areas and cocktail bars.
A brilliant layout compared to many other cruise ship cabins with its marble bathroom that includes a bath and a good sized shower. A good sized walk in wardrobe with fitted drawers, a security safe and lots of hanging space. The double bedroom with its inbuit wall mounted flat TV screen and ceiling speakers can be divided by a curtain betweeh the bedroom and the living area
The lounge has no shortage of space with plenty of room to spread out and relax. A unique discreet wall panel TV is mounted above fitted cabinets that include a writing desk, fridge and lots of storage and drawer space.
Blackout curtains are incorporated above solid double glazed sliding doors leading to a good sized veranda with a table and two chairs.
My only negative experience was the hardness of the bed and lack of a decent Dunlopillo pillar. Sadly, the ship doesn't carry mattress toppers as some cruise lines do if you need to add a bit more comfort to your sleep.
Singapore is a brilliant location and worthy of supporting any cruise ship.
