Ship was pretty. Food similar to Royal Carribean. I would recommend anytime dining .Cruise director was nothing special. She was very formal and not funny. Shows were often at times more benefiting the earlier dining guests. They were very well done though. Princess theater is smaller. Only holds under 700 guests. Comedian only one time on the ship, and was not that funny. Staff is nice and attentive. Rooms are clean. Dining room is only one story which was not as dramatic as many I have seen. Overall I was happy with cruise, but did not think it was extra ordinary which people have claimed Princess is. Getting on and off the ship was quick because we came later to embark and disembarked later too. Princess Cay was very nice. They have chairs set up and shaded areas by the beach to use. Jazz music on ship was great. Piano player was very good too. But everything ended by midnight. So, if you are a late person who likes comedy and a funny cruise director, Princess may not be the first choice.
Wind in cabin was excessive first couple days when balcony was open making loud sounds so we could not open the door. Television in room was nice and large. Movies were available to watch in room which was an added bonus. Room steward was very good.
PIneal Island is very nice. You can take a kayak over. It is about a half hour taxi ride from port. Did this ourselves through Carribean Paddling.
