If you are searching for a European adventure, look no further than Viking's Amsterdam to Catalonia 10-day cruise!

After cruising with Viking River Cruises in July 2017, we decided to give Viking Ocean Cruises a look-see. We were not disappointed! Although the ocean vessels are larger and accommodate more passengers, we enjoyed the same fantastic experience as on the river. Viking's attention to every detail of a cruise vacation is unparalleled. From embarkation in Amsterdam to disembarkation in Barcelona, we were pampered and treated royally. Each and every staff member was professional and courteous; their pride in the Viking brand shone through.

We availed ourselves of a 2-day pre-cruise stay in Amsterdam. While the hotel chosen by Viking (Movenpick) was superb, it was a bit distant from the city center. It's location, however, made transferring from the hotel to the ship very easy as it was only a few hundred yards down the street. And, as with their cruises, Viking offered an included canal boat tour as part of the package, which was awesome.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

The cabin was ready upon embarkation and was well taken care of by our excellent cabin stewards. The veranda gave us a "second" room and was relaxing and enjoyable both while in port and while cruising. The bed was very comfortable. The bath was more than sufficient size. The heated floor in the bath is a welcome treat in the mornings.
