This was our first cruise with Princess and it was one of our better experiences compared to several other lines. The ship is lovely and nicely appointed. The cabins adequate in size but not as large as some we have been on. The crew was friendly and helpful. The food delicious and the Medallion Net Internet exceptional and a reasonably priced. The only downside was what I felt to be only average entertainment.
We had a mid/aft veranda cabin (C615) on the Caribe deck. The location was great, about mid way between the mid and aft elevators. The room was nicely appointed but lacking some of the nice features of other cruises like name toiletries. My big complaint about almost all ships is the lack of power outlets especially one by the bed for CPAP users, Luckily we travel with an extension, multi-plug cord but having to drape it across the room at night is always a pain. Sadly this seems to be the case with most ships. The bed was comfortable and the cabin quiet.
The ship was lovely and huge although you could find some quiet spots if you wanted. The Gym was well equipped but crowded, especially on at-sea days. The same went for the pool area which got quite crowded on at-sea days. We opted to the Aft Bar area where we could usually find a quiet seat and get a drink. The Casino is small but adequate, they even have some "non-smoking" nights. We only went to two shows which were nice but not fantastic. You need to get to the theater early to get good seats as some areas have quite obstructed views. We were part of the new Medallion Class where we got a proximity medallion which opened our door and was used for identification. However we were also issue the standard card as well for charging things. I hope in the future they can eliminate one of the two items as they seem redundant.

Really not impressed with Falmouth. If you leave the secured area by the port you are immediately accosted by hustlers which wont leave you alone, Walking around the city area is not enjoyable.
Unfortunately nothing is really close to the port so you need to taxi or take an excursion. All we did is look at the shops by the port area.
