Sail Date: Jan 2019
Cabin: Spacious Ocean View Balcony

We chose it mainly for the itinerary but also because we have not been on the Freedom Class. You had to look hard to know she was 12-13 years old. Very minor blemishes that I could see. It’s the first time I saw lifeguards and was very surprised. All of the food we (4 adults) had was good. Maine lobster tails (no extra cost), what a treat. Windjammer was busy for the most part but we could always find a table. Keep walking as there is plenty of food and seating past the first station. If you sail out of Puerto Rico, be prepared for many from PR. I’m not saying it was bad but they do make announcements in both English and Spanish. We had to balcony cabins, center of hump. Our steward opened the balcony partition on request. Udine was a very sweet and wonderful cabin steward. We have been on the Allure and I did miss deck 8. Next up, Oasis and Symphony, we like mega!

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 6B

Room darkening curtains were great although a little worn. Comfortable love seat, comfortable bed. Plenty of storage for clothes. Two narrow mirrors at the vanity open for storage. I brought a few magnets to hang up my nightie/a hat/hoodie, also one with a clip for any papers I wanted off the countertop. The balcony had two chairs and a table with plenty of room to move around. We had $65 of unused OBC that was returned in cash the last evening. We did go to guest relations for that.

Port Reviews

Aruba

We rented a Jeep and toured the island on our own.

San Juan

Interesting but nothing special.

St. Maarten

We just went to the taxi area and found an available driver. He was very knowledgeable about his island.

Curacao

Not good. Very hard to understand so we missed a lot of information, not that he gave us much. PA system kept cutting out.

Bonaire

Should have taken the southern route as we wanted to see the salt flats. North was nice though. It was hard for the driver to understand our questions and he was hard to understand.
