So nice to get out of the cold and settle in to another Celebrity cruise. 12 days in the sun, lots of islands to visit, and a wonderful ship all the while. Silhouette is still a great ship and the service on board has not slipped. We ate in Blu each night for dinner where the staff were once again amazing. We did think the food quality has gone down a bit from past cruises, but actually chalked that up to the chef who seemed to blunder at times with some of the standard menu items. Others were as good or better than we have had in the past. Our cabin in Aqua was fine, clean, spacious and centrally located. Quiet too. The ports in the Caribbean are typically the same. We did not go to any of the evening shows, finding the listings cheesy and amateurish enough to avoid. All of the bands performing around the ship were pretty bad too, although the solo guitar player was more than enjoyable. Bars were packed early but no so much late at night. All in all we had a fine time and plan on booking a similar cruise next January.

Port Reviews

St. Lucia

Not much to see while on board. Swimming off the catamaran was not great and then the trip to the Pitons was fairly boring. Felt the excursion was no where near what was described

Dominica

Great trip. Lots of dolphins and whales and a great tour guide
