A bad ‘repair’ of worn areas in a public area bathroom.

We wouldn’t have chosen this ship had it not been the only choice to visit Cuba. It’s 27yo and needs some attention. The most of the crew was extremely enthusiastic and efficient. Our friend’s steward was amazing and thoughtful. Ours was much less than that. There were several times that we returned to our room to find the heat turned as high as possible.

There were repairs that needed to be done on other areas of the ship. The steps leading from Windjammer Marketplace to 12th floor had loose carpeting and I would consider them a trip hazard. Several times I noticed the handrails were sticky.

My belief was that there should be much more attention paid to the condition of the ship.

Cabin 1V

Our cabin attendant was very lax.

Sometimes she skipped the bathroom completely. We had mildew all over our shower and curtain. We complained and the specialist they sent to clean didn’t get it right either. I could easily wipe it off with a washcloth. Bleach water and a small effort would have taken care of it.

The repairs they have made were done badly. Our shower wall was rust bubbled through to the cabin wall and covered with contact paper. The light bulbs in the over bed lights were so dust covered I was concerned they were a fire risk.

Disappointing all around.
