We did a lot of cruising until about 6 years ago until this one. We noticed a big difference in just about every area. Bigger ships do not equal better cruising in my opinion. Too many details to list, but I think the biggest problem was the lines for elevators, the slow service in the dining room and the mass of people in the promenade. It felt like downtown Fremont street in Las Vegas. Our dining room waiter was brand new and had had no training as to where anything was. He was embarrassed as were we for him. My prime rib seemed as though it had not been cooked at all. It was ruum temperature. The shrimp cocktail had so sauce and we had to ask for it. It came after the fact. It got a little better as the week went on, but the night before we got off, the waiter spent at least 15 minutes apologizing and it seemed he was groveling for a larger tip. I'm sorry, but I think this is the last cruise for us unless we can find a smaller ship. Over 4,000 people is about 2,000 too many.
No problem with the cabin. Plenty of closet space. Bathroom sink didn't drain, but steward didn't report it to have it fixed.
