Cabin: Balcony

I picked this cruise because it fit into a narrow window I had for travel. In some ways it worked out as it was inexpensive. I travel solo, and when I booked the price for a balcony was only a few hundred more than an inside. I took it.

The ports were nothing new for me. Outside of the Mexican Riveria, I've done Western Caribbean more than any other destination. Princess Cays was unavailable due to weather. I didn't get off the ship in Falmouth, Jamaica. In Grand Cayman I went to Stingray City (probably the only major thing I hadn't seen there), and just walked a bit in Cozumel.

The ship was Medallion, but not implemented in any way that was better than a ship card. Well, except for embarking. That was fast and easy. Indeed, both embarking and disembarking were faster than any other ship I've been on. Features like ordering drinks from your smartphone were not available.

Balcony

Cabin BW

I really liked this room. The obstruction on the balcony was minor. Tenders were forward of the room, and lookout out there was only a small amount of view blocked by a locker. On the down side, there was no sofa, just two chairs. Power was next to the bed, so I was able to plug my CPAP in directly instead of using batteries or an extension cord. For some reason, Princess has not wired USB power outlets.

Cozumel

I've been to Cozumel many times so I didn't take an excursion. I did a little shopping.
