On the NCL Getaway we were treated very well by the staff, that was always happy and helpful. Ship was very clean and well stocked with all that you need. When we met a staff member and talked with them briefly they would come to us when they saw us and again talk to us to see how we are doing, even when seen in a different part of the ship. The information supplied for each port was very informative to know what to see or shop for. This was our anniversary cruise and they treated us to a cake and a bottle of wine to our room in addition to the bottle of champagne that was already in our room. One thing I did not like were the ports on the private islands that were for shopping on their private island and not really seeing the local people and culture. Costa Maya was better and Cozumel was even better.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IC

Clean and larger than remember from previous cruise.

Port Reviews

Miami

Everything went well for getting so many people off then us getting on the ship.

Roatan

Private island and shopping controlled by the cruise line. Not a real Honduran experience.

Harvest Caye

Private island owned by the cruise lines and therefore not a real Belize cultural experience.

Costa Maya

Area controlled by the cruise lines and therefore we feel not a real Mexican experience.

Cozumel

This was the tourist area of Mexico. So a real Mexican experience but in a tourist area. Very nice. Found a nice colonial house serving nice local food at an inexpensive price. Full meal for 5 for $26.
